Siri virtual assistants are very functional when you need help operating the phone remotely; however, there are moments when we can't speak. Fortunately, the folks at Apple thought of everything.
To activate the option of typing to Siri, you must enter the program on your iPhone or iPad to go to 'Settings'.
Once there, go to 'General' and then to the 'Accessibility' section. Choose 'Siri' and from there you go to the option 'Type to Siri'.
Now you can continue interacting with Apple's virtual assistant without disturbing social or work meetings.
We have to ask ourselves how functional this option can be considering that if you already have access to the phone to type to Siri, why not take advantage of that same access to search for what you want on Google, for example? It's a matter of use, but it's always good to have the option available. You never know.
