Leones Negros and Alebrijes draw 2-2 in an intense match

In a great duel of skills, but above all of determination, Leones Negros managed to secure a 2-2 draw against Alebrijes. This leaves everything open for this Sunday at the Jalisco stadium, where they could advance to the final with a victory or even a draw with fewer than three goals.

In the game, Alebrijes took possession of the ball and had the first chance of the match just three minutes in, with Madrigal's header being well saved by goalkeeper Felipe López, who was ultimately the standout player.

Oaxaca continued to press and scored in the 6th minute through Martín Zúñiga, who found the back of the net after a cross from José Medina. Leones tried to respond, but their attempts were fruitless. It was Alebrijes who had the clearest chances, and in the 17th minute, Tehuitzil came close, but his shot went wide of López's goal. UdeG couldn't cope with their opponent's dominance, but Alebrijes failed to capitalize on their chances.

However, a substitution due to injury changed the course of the match for Jorge Dávalos' team. Joao was replaced by the team's top scorer, Ismael Valadéz, in the 37th minute, and five minutes later Valagol appeared. Following a cross from the right-hand side in the 42nd minute, the striker reached the area and scored with his right foot, equalizing the score.

In the second half, the Guadalajara team came out looking for the advantage and had opportunities to take the lead in the first two minutes. As the game progressed, Alebrijes regained control, constantly reaching the opposition's goal, but Felipe López's presence grew and he saved his team. However, he could not resist so many onslaughts. In the 73rd minute, a penalty was awarded to Oaxaca, after Efrén Mendoza handled the ball in the area. Madrigal converted the penalty, aiming for the bottom right corner of the goal, putting his team ahead once again.

But Leones Negros didn't give up, and their DNA showed. In the 85th minute, Jesús Vázquez made a run, passed the ball to captain Christian Valdéz, who scored with an inside foot shot, equalizing the score at 2-2. The score remained unchanged until the 94th minute, when the final whistle was blown.
