Note: Lanús's gesture towards Julio César Falcioni
In Lanús, they set aside rivalry for a moment - just before the South's classic - and had a noble gesture with Banfield coach, Julio César Falcioni, who is recovering after undergoing cancer treatment.
Before the start of the match, on the big screen of the Lanús stadium, in Arias and Guidi, the image of the Taladro coach's face and the message "Stay strong Julio César Falcioni" were projected. There were even some applause from the local crowd.

In December, Falcioni had scheduled surgery to remove a nodule in his larynx, but they discovered a tumor and the operation lasted more than twelve hours. From that moment on, the coach's fight to recover began.
Julio César Falcioni: "In the morning I had X-rays, later on chemo, and then I had the stress of the game"
Omar Píccoli, his assistant coach, took charge of Banfield's first team while Falcioni underwent treatment. Now the coach awaits the results to determine the next steps. Although he watched Saturday's match on television, the coach remains active and aware of what is happening with the team, while leaving his friend Píccoli in charge of leading the team.
