Benfica defeated Guimaraes 2-0
Benfica defeated Guimaraes 2-0 on Saturday at the Estadio da Luz, where Mexican forward Raúl Jiménez came in as a substitute and provided an assist for the second goal.
'The Eagles' maintain their good form in the tournament and secured their eighth consecutive victory, after defeating Guimaraes in the 28th matchday of the Portuguese League.
The goals came from Jonas Oliveira, who scored a penalty in the 45th minute, and closed the scoring in the 78th minute with an assist from Raúl Jiménez, who came off the bench in the 69th minute, replacing Franco Cervi.
The national team striker responded to the coach Rui Vitória's trust with a good performance on the pitch, in addition to contributing to the second goal.

Benfica temporarily occupies the top position in the tournament, pending the result between Porto and Belenenses.
