Soles and Aguacateros tie the semifinal series.

The Soles of Mexicali and the Aguacateros de Michoacán tied the semifinal series of the Mexican Basketball League.

Soles de Mexicali falls to Aguacateros de Michoacán in the Semifinal Series

Soles de Mexicali lost 88-74 in the fourth game of the semifinal series against Aguacateros de Michoacán. The game took place at the Auditorio de usos múltiples de la Universidad Michoacana.

Soles started with Joseph Soto, Eugene Phelps, Chane Behanan, Richard Roby, and Luke Martinez.

Meanwhile, Aguacateros fielded Tyron White, Dominic McGwire, Juan Coronado, Stephen Soriano, and Israel Gutiérrez.

The first quarter started with good shooting from both teams. However, Soles managed to take the advantage thanks to good team rotation and offensive contributions from Jou Soto. They ended the first period with a 20-18 lead.

The second quarter brought points for Aguacateros, who quickly took the lead led by Gilberto Clavel, scoring 9 points. Soles tried to adjust, but couldn't contain the Michoacán team's attacks. They went into halftime with a score of 51-38.

In the third period, Soles came out with great intensity and managed to shorten the lead. However, Aguacateros continued their perimeter game and quickly regained a double-digit advantage. The Cachanillas regained possession of the ball and were able to narrow the gap again, ending the third quarter with a 66-59 lead for Michoacán.

The final period saw Soles trying to cut the deficit, but the Michoacán team didn't allow the Cachanillas to progress. With long-range shots, Aguacateros built an 18-point lead. Soles continued their work to score and reduce the adverse score, but their efforts were unsuccessful, resulting in a final score of 88-74.
