In an interview with Caracol Radio, the president of Dimayor, Jorge Perdomo, explained how the Premium channel of Colombian Professional Football will work and what its price will be.
"The only country in South America where there is no premium channel is Paraguay, all others have it because it is the only way for professional football to continue growing," he said.
He added, "as long as there are resources, there will be ways to ensure the improvement of the product so that teams can maintain their talents," indicated Perdomo, who stated that the main objective of the channel is the resources.
According to Perdomo, all the matches of the Liga Águila will be able to be seen on the channel, "all the Liga matches will be on the premium channel, there are 40 matches per month, plus the best ones from the Cup, the Tournament and the Women's League. In total, there will be between 60 to 70 matches per month."
The leader affirmed that the price will be 10 dollars, approximately 30,000 pesos. "It will be one of the lowest rates that are being paid in South America, in fact, we have identified that the less privileged classes are the ones most inclined to pay for the premium channel."
And he compared it with one of the most viewed paid series in the world, "that's less than what you pay for HBO Plus to have the latest Game of Thrones releases."
