The success of the runners from La Laguna in the XXX edition of the International Lala Marathon 2018

La Laguna has a reason to celebrate, and double, due to the success of the runners from La Laguna in this XXX edition of the International Lala Marathon 2018, as they triumphed in the absolute category for the second consecutive year.

Isabel Vélez in the women's category and her partner, Daniel Ortiz, did it again and reached the top of the podium.

Both are from La Laguna and since they were absolute winners, they are not included in the "Best Runners from La Laguna" category, where the first place in the women's category went to Argentina Valdepeñas, who completed a time of 2:58:32.

At the same time, Juan Ignacio Martínez Cuevas crossed the finish line, who will be awarded as the best runner from La Laguna in a ceremony that will take place soon by the organizing committee.

Juan Ignacio achieved a time of 2:35:53, Juan Ricardo Jáquez Nájera would be the second place in the men's category with a time of 2:40:04, while the third place would be occupied by Jaime Ortiz with 2:40:25.
