It has been six years since the launch of TERA on the PC platform. Users have constantly been asking for it to arrive on the latest generation consoles in order to enjoy the MMORPG. Now it is a reality and they are preparing an open beta for PS4 and Xbox One.
The chosen dates for all PS4 and Xbox One users to be able to try it will be from March 9th to the 12th of the same month. TERA is currently a free game with microtransactions on PC, it is expected that it will maintain this modality on consoles but nothing has been confirmed at the moment.
"The TERA team has been very careful in adapting the vast world of TERA and the best combat system in this genre to consoles. We feel that the results speak for themselves and we are excited to put the game into the hands of fans during the next Open Beta. Consoles need a strong MMORPG, and TERA is ready to deliver it," commented one of Masse Entertainment's responsible.
TERA, if it becomes free for consoles, would become the most attended MMORPG by players and possibly one of the most successful on Xbox One and PS4. Remember that in order to play it, it will be necessary to be subscribed to the online tools of the consoles.
