TC Pista opens a new season in Viedma

The TC Pista will open a new season this weekend at the Viedma racetrack, in the province of Río Negro, and a field of 30 machines is expected for the first race of the year, including two from Comodoro Rivadavia.

Marcelo Agrelo and Gustavo Micheloud are the ones who will carry the flag of Comodoro Rivadavia this year, and they will seek to be protagonists from the first race, which will begin tomorrow in the province of Río Negro.

The two representatives from the south have already had their first contact with their respective machines at the Olavarría racetrack. "The training served us well. We only did six laps, and it was just to make sure everything works well, without looking for times. It was quite useful for me and for the team because we corrected some things that would have made us lose a whole day in Viedma," Micheloud said.

On the other hand, Marcelo Agrelo also had a positive evaluation of the first contact with the new Ford of JPG Racing, and everything is ready for the first training sessions at the Viedma racetrack.

It is worth mentioning that five drivers who competed in the specialty last year will join the TC this year. They are: Valentín Aguirre (current champion), Nicolás Pezzucchi, Juan Tomás Catalán Magni (winner of the 1000 kilometers of Buenos Aires), Nicolás Trosset, and Luciano Ventricelli.

It is important to note that fifteen drivers are eligible to make their debut in the TC Pista. The recent TC Mouras champion, Facundo Della Motta, will do so aboard a Chevy prepared by Las Toscas Racing.

A new year begins. Teams, drivers, and cars are renewed. But the expectations of becoming champion and reaching the Turismo Carretera remain intact in each of the 30 competitors who will experience the first race in Viedma.
