Such is the case of Eddy Ferrini, a student and sports enthusiast from the Boston area, who was overconfident and decided to get a tattoo of all the Roman numerals with the titles of the Patriots, including the LII, something that ultimately did not happen and sparked mockery on social media.

"If they don't win this year, I think they will win next year," Ferrini assured a US media outlet days before the Big Game. "I'll add another I next year," referring to the possibility of the Pats winning the LIII edition.
