A new king replaces the old. Just a few hours after announcing the departure of Gabonese player Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, the management of Borussia Dortmund has confirmed the signing of the player who, in theory, will take his place, Belgian player Michy Batshuayi.
The 24-year-old forward is leaving Chelsea, the team with which he has played 25 official matches this season (scoring 10 goals), to lead the attack of a German team that is not going through its best moment (currently in a disappointing sixth position in the Bundesliga).
Signed by the Blues in the summer of 2016 for an impressive €32 million fee, the forward is almost obliged to take advantage of this new adventure in German football to revive a career that has been on a dangerous downward trajectory since he left the discipline of Olympique de Marseille.
