After 13 years, the Patriots and the Eagles will face each other again on Super Sunday, after their first encounter in Super Bowl XXXIX, which ended in a 24-21 victory for the Patriots.
Hours before, the team said goodbye to thousands of fans in Foxborough before heading to the Super Bowl LII venue.
"It's going to be fun, it's going to be a lot of hard work, we're facing a great team, but let me tell you something, we have a locker room full of players ready to face the challenge," said the 40-year-old Patriots quarterback at a farewell event outside Gillette Stadium, attended by thousands of fans, some of whom had been there since early morning.
Brady, the last of several players to speak, thanked the fans for their support throughout the season.
"We have one more game to play. We're going there and we'll try to win it for you," he shouted to the enthusiastic fans.

After the event, the team boarded buses for the short trip to T.F. Green Airport in Rhode Island, where the Patriots will fly to Minneapolis for Sunday's Super Bowl.
Dozens more fans gathered at the airport to see the players board the Patriots' plane, known as Air Kraft, named after the team owner, Bob Kraft. The Boeing 767 is painted with the team logo and their five Lombardi trophies.
In Foxborough, fans also heard from coach Bill Belichick and several other players - including wide receiver Danny Amendola and defensive back Duron Harmon - before the crowd began chanting "MVP" as Brady was announced.
Tight end Rob Gronkowski also took the stage, although he did not speak, and his presence gave fans hope that he will be able to play in the Super Bowl after suffering a concussion in the AFC Championship Game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
