Club León president confirms interest in Bryan Ruiz

The president of Club León, Jesús Martínez Murguía, confirmed that Costa Rican Bryan Ruiz is a potential signing to strengthen the team's offense.

In an interview with Costa Rican newspaper La Nación, the club executive mentioned that the 32-year-old attacker could become a new player for the team.

"He is not ruled out, he is among the options, but for now, there is nothing close to closing the deal," said Martínez to the media outlet.

"He is the captain, a very important man. If there has been an interest, but we are evaluating other possible options. He is a great player," added Martínez Murguía.

The economic factor would not be an impediment for Ruiz to join the team, "he earns well, as he should, because he plays well, but it does not exceed our budget," pointed out the executive.
