Tyler Alexander failed in the top of the fourth and the game was conditioned for Charros. They had to go against the current, but it wasn't enough for the comeback and Charros ended up with the defeat. Although in the end, the match was close, the game ended 5-4 in favor of Tomateros. Now Charros will have to win the two games in Culiacán to aspire to the semifinals.

Emotions abound in the fifth game of the series between Charros and Tomateros from Culiacán.

Tomateros struck first, scoring runs in the first two innings, and also managed to get their first batter on base in the first four innings. They hit Tyler Alexander and the visiting team played Caribbean ball and caused damage to Charros' left-handed pitcher.

With the score against them, Charros earned a run, a glimmer of hope. Amador hit a home run in the bottom of the second, making the game 2-1 still in favor of the Sinaloa team.

The game was on the edge, but in the top of the fourth, the Culiacán team took off. Tyler Alexander got into trouble, first giving up a hit, then a walk, resulting in men on first and second. Then, in a force play, the runners advanced to third and second. It was Fellito Amézaga's turn, and Tyler Alexander put him out of the game with a great pitch. Then, Ali Solís found a perfect ball and hit a home run, making it 5-1 for Tomateros de Culiacán.

After that, Charros' long relief paid off and stifled Tomateros' offense. Elizalde, Amézaga, Mustelier, and Solís were left wanting and they didn't see any perfect pitches, hanging the zeroes from the fifth to the ninth inning.

In the bottom of the ninth, Charros had to appeal to heroics or go all-in in Culiacán. Amador and Murillo hit back-to-back singles and then Jabari Blash hit a three-run home run for the miracle of Charros.

Gabriel Gutiérrez hit a single and the tying run was on first, hope was reignited, but Alberto Carreón failed with the bat and hit into a double play, ending the game.
