Transfer: Atlético de Madrid Loans Luciano Vietto to Valencia

Atletico de Madrid confirmed on Thursday the loan of Argentine forward Luciano Vietto to Valencia until the end of the season. The club wished him "the best of luck" in his new journey.

In the statement, Atletico recalled that Vietto has played a total of 38 games between the 2015-16 season and the current one, with a loan period at Sevilla last season.

In these two campaigns, Vietto has scored three goals in 38 games with Atletico, all of them in his first season with the team.

"It makes me angry that he is leaving. He has been one of the best players to ever play for the team. He hasn't had the accompanying goals or the strength in a team that doesn't wait. I hope he can find what he hasn't had here in another team," said Argentine coach Diego Pablo Simeone about him.
