This time, the lawyer of the 1986 World Cup champion, Matías Morla, said that Giannina Maradona, daughter of the former football player and ex-wife of Sergio Agüero, could go to preventive prison if it is proven that she hindered the investigation for fraudulent administration against her mother and 'Pelusa's' ex-wife, Claudia Villafañe.

"Do you think it is logical that one of the daughters traveled during the process? Keep in mind that preventive prison is ordered when there is obstruction of evidence or danger of escape. In the middle of the evasion case, Giannina Maradona left Argentina on a Monday, August 31, and returned a few hours later," said Morla to Canal América.

Diego Maradona's lawyer continued: "If we are informed from Uruguay that they opened and closed a bank account, we will undoubtedly request preventive prison. Claudia entered the whitewash, now we need to know where she got the assets she whitewashed from."

Diego Maradona accused Villafañe, mother of Dalma and Giannina, of allegedly fraudulently managing his money between 2000 and 2015. The lawyer believes that Villafañe "stole" about 80 million pesos (about 3.8 million euros).

Giannina Maradona, ex-wife of Sergio Aguero, spoke out on social media about the situation: "He knows where I live. Let them come whenever they want. Just in case, I am no longer in Segurola and Habana!" she wrote on her Twitter account.
