"I feel good about the result, she is a very tough opponent, I played against her in February, I lost that match, I felt very nervous, but now I feel incredible that I had another chance to win and I did it," said Noel after the match.
On the other hand, one of the most attractive matches of the day was between Tseng and Rubio, both big favorites in this tournament; however, there was only one winner. The Chinese player dominated throughout the entire match, in the first set he left the Mexican with no chances, winning 6-0, and in the second set, Fierros fought harder, but it wasn't enough as he lost 6-4.
"I felt very tired in the first set, especially because I played a lot of matches yesterday. Chun played really well, he didn't give me a chance to get into the match at the beginning, but he did very well," acknowledged the Mexican after the defeat.
