Why were César Acuña and César Vallejo not sanctioned? This is what the ADFP-SD resolution says.

Last Wednesday, the ADFP-SD resolution on bribery cases in the promotion tournament was published.

The corrective measures were to suspend Fischer Guevara and Lee Andonayre from any football-related activity for five years, while Ryan Salazar was given two years.

Meanwhile, Club César Vallejo and its president César Acuña escaped punishment because "there is no reasonable evidence" to "allow for the certainty of assigning direct responsibility to Club César Vallejo, as the statements of the players involved have not been able to determine that there was personal contact for a presumed bribe."

The above is what is stated in the resolution, which also mentions that Fischer Guevara and Lee Andonayre indicated that mentioning César Acuña in the audio recordings was a 'joke'.

What about the photograph of César Acuña with Fischer Guevara and a bundle of bills?

The resolution says the following:

Having consulted Mr. Fischer Guevara Urbina about the photograph mentioned in the fifth view of this resolution, he acknowledges its veracity, indicating that it was taken at the home of Mr. César Acuña Peralta, president of Club Universidad César Vallejo, stating that it was taken between the months of July and August of this year, after he left Club Santa Rosa to join the Club Deportivo Coopsol finals. He also acknowledges having received money from Mr. César Acuña Peralta. It should be noted that Fischer Guevara indicates that the money given was a result of a personal favor due to a family emergency, a fact that has been proven before this instance.

César Acuña recognizes that the photograph where he appears with Fischer Guevara, presented in the Sport Boys complaint, is authentic and that he did indeed provide money to Mr. Fischer Guevara as a personal favor, through Ricardo Carlas (his son-in-law) as an intermediary, and does not recall the exact date of the photo, as it was taken a long time ago.

This is how César Vallejo and César Acuña were cleared of the investigation and the team will be able to compete in the final of the Peruvian second division football tournament this weekend against Sport Boys.
