Not everything that shines is gold, nor is everything bad - or at least what it seems - really bad.
Relegated to the bench in recent games, Iker Casillas referred to his substitute role at Porto and found a positive side to the situation: "It's good to value and learn from our teammates," said the Spanish goalkeeper in an interview with Canal Plus.
"All players end up on the bench, but it's good to value and learn from our teammates and understand the luck of being able to play," reflected Casillas.
And he added: "A team is not just eleven players. I like to train, improve, and fight for the starting position. Competition is healthy, and I will continue to fight to play."
His coach, Sergio Conceiçao, has preferred goalkeeper José Sá in the goal of the 'Dragons' since October 1, but Casillas respects his decision and stated: "He is a competitive coach with a strong and ambitious character. He knows Porto well and the club's need to win titles."
