Romelu Lukaku: A Struggling Season for Manchester United's Star Striker
Romelu Lukaku has become the ideal replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Manchester United this season. Through goals and impressive performances, the Belgian has won over the fans and gained the trust of the coach in a short period of time. At first, everything was praise; however, criticism towards him has become recurrent these days.
And the reason for this is none other than the goal drought of the former Everton player, which has led him to be absent from the scoresheet in the last seven matches, the most recent being the defeat against Chelsea. With this, the 'Red Devils' are now eight points behind league leaders Manchester City in the Premier League.

The situation of Manchester United and Romelu Lukaku was a topic of conversation on England's Match of the Day 2 program. There, Alan Shearer, panelist and historic top scorer of the Premier League, didn't miss the opportunity to give some advice to Lukaku.
"My advice would be that when he's not on a scoring streak, he should forget about everything else and focus, it's time to be selfish. He has to think about the width of the box, that's where he's most dangerous. Let others create the opportunity for him. He's not helping himself, and they're not helping him," said Shearer, who scored 260 goals in the history of the English league.
