Uruguayan Edinson Cavani takes on the leadership typically held by Neymar, who is suspended for two matches, and guides Paris Saint-Germain to victory over Nice (3-0) in an early match of the eleventh round of the French League.

As a reminder, the Brazilian got sent off in the match last Sunday against Olympique de Marseille for a bad reaction and an altercation with Lucas Ocampos; therefore, he had to watch this match from the stands at Parc des Princes.

The Uruguayan star opened the scoring for his team in the third minute, marking Parisians' 2,500th goal in the French league. He then scored again in the 31st minute. The third goal came from an own goal by Brazilian Dante in the 52nd minute.

In the standings, PSG now extends their lead with 29 points, seven more than the second-placed Monaco, who will visit Bordeaux (7th) on Saturday.
