January 2016: Chinese club Jiangsu Suning signs Brazilian player Ramires
In January 2016, one of the great clubs in the emerging Chinese league, Jiangsu Suning, made a significant move and secured the services of Brazilian player Ramires. The Chinese side paid a staggering €28 million for this player who was on his way to completing his sixth season with Chelsea.
Two years later: Ramires could return to European football with Inter Milan
Well, just two years later, the experienced midfielder (30 years old) could return to European football. In fact, a report from the Daily Mail indicates that the agreement for his arrival at Inter Milan next January is practically done, and the relevant documents will be signed by the parties during the next week.
The Brazilian player, who would arrive on loan, would reinforce the defensive midfield position, for which Inter Milan had also considered the signing of Ghanaian player Thomas Partey (Atletico Madrid) and Malian player Yves Bissouma (Lille). However, in both cases, the club has ultimately parked their interest due to the refusal of their respective teams to consider their departure next January.
