Arsene Wenger seems to have already assumed that the days of Alexis Sánchez at Arsenal are numbered. Although he was one of those responsible for aborting the possible transfer of the player during the summer market, the French coach has understood that it no longer makes much sense to retain a player who has no intention of renewing his contract, and has begun to consider his departure for next January.

That said, the Alsatian wants his departure to bring some kind of benefit to the London squad and has not hesitated to put an undoubtedly striking idea on the table. According to the Daily Star, this would involve offering the Chilean to one of his great suitors, Paris Saint-Germain, and asking for the transfer of one of the French team's players in return, the German Julian Draxler.

Wenger is a great admirer of the attacking midfielder since he started his career at Schalke 04 and would be delighted to welcome him, as he believes that, despite having a different profile, the arrival of the German international would help alleviate the harmful effects of the departure of the Wonder Boy.

Although perhaps interesting for the parties involved, the agreement seems complicated, as both teams would have to value their players at identical amounts or force the other party to pay a small amount of money to ensure that the exchange is balanced.
