Real Oviedo Shows Support to Mexico Earthquake Victims
Real Oviedo, from the Second Division of Spain, has shown its support for the victims of the earthquake that hit Mexico last Tuesday, leaving dozens dead and causing structural damage.
The 'carballones', a team in which Mexican entrepreneur Carlos Slim is the majority shareholder, wore a jersey with a message of support for Mexico in the match against Albacete.
Furthermore, the Iberian team announced that these jerseys will be auctioned and the proceeds will be donated to those affected by this natural disaster.
"In Albacete, our jerseys will carry Mexico in our hearts and will be auctioned to raise funds for the earthquake victims #FuerzaMéxico", stated the team in a tweet.
