Club Santos Laguna supports victims of earthquake in Mexico

The Club Santos Laguna expressed solidarity with the victims of the earthquake that occurred last Tuesday in the center of the country, by going to the collection center installed at the TSM to make their donation.

After the practice that the team carried out on the alternative fields near the Corona stadium, the players went to the Soriana Lobby to deposit the donation, showing their solidarity with the Mexican people, especially those who are suffering from the event that mainly affected the capital of the country, as well as Puebla and Morelos.

The players expressed their condolences to those who lost a loved one, distressed by the news that has arrived, especially about those who perished under the rubble.

Carlos Izquierdoz, captain of the team, expressed that as football players, they stand with all the people who have been affected and that this contribution is just a drop in the bucket of the much-needed help to address this emergency.

In the same way, Diego de Buen pointed out that it has been a very devastating event that now more than ever requires the unity of the football community, in solidarity with those who were affected in one way or another by this earthquake.
