According to the General Assembly Act of Club Deportivo Morumbi A.C., presented in the Municipality of Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, on June 24, 2008 by Felipe Flores Gómez, which was registered in Book 485 Section LEGAL ENTITIES, Document 16 and with Folio 4123 and of which Milenio has a copy, Rafael Márquez Álvarez and Miguel Angel Zepeda Espinoza were admitted as partners.
The US Department of the Treasury made public a list, the result of over four years of investigation, which documents that Flores Hernández and his partners used more than 30 companies based in the state of Jalisco to commit money laundering offenses from drug trafficking.

Among the companies mentioned by US authorities is Club Deportivo Morumbi A.C, located in Zapopan, Jalisco, and which was the official name of Guerreros Autlán, a team present in the Second and Third Division of Mexican football.
It was precisely on that date, as stated in the document in possession of Milenio, that Rafael Márquez and Miguel Zepeda were admitted as partners of the sports club.
The same act informs that other agreements made in the Club Deportivo Morumbi assembly were the approval of the 2008 balance, the recognition of certificates, and most importantly, the resignation of Raúl Flores Hernández as president, as well as the sale of a plot of land.

Raúl Flores Hernández, better known as El Tío, is a character who has been linked to Mexican football with the approval of the Mexican Football Federation.
Since 2000, the FMF opened its doors wide to the alleged drug trafficker when it registered him as president of Guerreros Autlán, a franchise purchased from businessman Jymmy Goldsmith, a very famous figure within the national football industry and the current owner of Loros de Colima, a team recently relegated to the Second Division.
While Flores Hernández served as president of the team, Guerreros was the runner-up in the Second Division and the champion in the Third Division. In addition to El Tío, there were other individuals who served as founders of Guerreros, including his brother José and other members of his family such as Gilberto Rodríguez Flores, Francisco Javier González González, Jorge Alonso, Abel del Real Chávez, Felipe Flores Gómez, and María Isela Chávez Martínez.
Guerreros Autlán played their home matches at the Chapultepec Sports Unit, although during the week they trained in Zapopan, precisely on lands of one of the companies that today are part of the list of 30 that, according to US authorities, were used by El Tío to launder money.
