The Mexican national team missed opportunities in the semi-finals of the Gold Cup

The Mexican national team had opportunities to defeat Jamaica in the semi-finals of the Gold Cup, but could not capitalize on the chances they had. He even mentioned that he has had to change positions to get minutes on the field.

"We shouldn't look for culprits, Mexican football is like that, forwards are usually foreigners, that's a reality. I used to start as a forward, but lately I play as a midfielder or winger because there is no opportunity. You have to look for other positions to play."

The attacker also took responsibility for the elimination of the Tricolor in the Gold Cup: "We all have to step up, take responsibility. We have to face the bullets. We had much more to give, but we fell short."
