Chivas welcomes Alanís and Cota

After their performance in the Confederations Cup in Russia, Chivas now has the services of Oswaldo Alanís and goalkeeper Rodolfo Cota, two additions ahead of the Super League match against Tigres in Carson, California.

Upon returning from Russia, the leadership gave their players a couple of days off so they could rest and come back fully charged for the start of the football year.

Alanís immediately joined the physical training sessions led by coach Guido Bonini, who demanded that he train alongside the rest of his teammates.

The football exercises for the outfield players were highly demanding, involving short sprints and explosive movements to maintain good physical condition throughout the upcoming season.

Alanís looked good, strong, and had no problems working under the guidance of Bonini, who is the team's fitness coach. The defender returned without any issues from his participation with the national team, where he played a couple of games in the pre-World Cup tournament.

Cota alongside the goalkeepers

Another player who had no problems integrating with the rest of the team is goalkeeper Rodolfo Cota, who was the only one who did not participate with the national team in Russia. Cota trained alongside Miguel Jiménez and Toño Torres, who is the team's third goalkeeper. With this outlook, the team will work towards their upcoming match against Tigres in the United States.
