Mexican Goretti Zumaya wins gold medal in 10-meter air rifle event at Guatemalan Festival Games

Zumaya shared the podium with another Mexican, Andrea Palafox, who won the bronze in the final; the top 3 was completed by Salvadoran Ana Ramirez, who finished in second place.

Goretti participated in the past Olympic Games in Rio, where she became the first Mexican athlete from the entire delegation to be eliminated from the competition.
