Venus Williams involved in a car accident

Professional tennis player Venus Williams was involved in a car accident in which a 78-year-old man died.

According to the website 'TMZ', the incident occurred on June 9 at an intersection in Palm Beach, Florida. It happened when Venus couldn't finish crossing the avenue due to traffic, and the victim, Jerome Barson, couldn't avoid crashing into her.

After the accident, Barson was taken to a hospital where he was admitted with a head injury. He passed away two weeks later.

Police reports estimate that Venus Williams was at fault for the incident; however, there is no evidence that she was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
