Unfair Fighter Attacks Referee During MMA Match

Within the world of mixed martial arts (MMA), there are several cases of malicious fighters. But none are as unfair as the protagonist of this YouTube video, who attacked the referee to continue assaulting his opponent.

This happened in the Grachan 5 event held in Tokyo, Japan. There, Takeo 'Cerberus Take' Shiina faced Jung Hyun Lee, in a match that started with a lot of aggression from both fighters.

After an intense exchange, Takeo landed a brutal left hook that sent Hyun Lee to the canvas. And even though his opponent showed no reaction, the Japanese fighter continued to senselessly attack him. This forced the referee to intervene and stop the punishment, as can be seen in the YouTube clip.

However, Takeo lost control and attacked the referee to get him off and continue attacking Hyun Lee. This regrettable unsportsmanlike behavior ended when members of his team entered the cage to restrain him. In the end, he lost the match by disqualification.
