Roland Garros is synonymous with Rafael Nadal.

The Spanish tennis player showed his best version and won for the tenth time at the Grand Slam in Paris. The victim was Stanislas Wawrinka, who had no chances against the Manacor native.

Rafael Nadal won in straight sets, with scores of 6-2, 6-3, and 6-1 in a match that lasted 2 hours and 5 minutes. Throughout the Roland Garros final, the Spaniard was much superior to Wawrinka.

The championship point came when Nadal was leading 5-1 in the third set. Wawrinka was serving and after several exchanges from the baseline, the Spanish player responded very well in defense, causing the Swiss player to make an error with a slice shot.
