The Sporting Canamy Club was crowned champions of the Third Division of Mexican soccer after defeating Tecos in a penalty shootout.

In the 18th minute, the team coached by Pony Ruiz opened the scoring, taking advantage of a mistake by the home team with a shot from outside the area to make it 1-0.

Despite Tecos' dominance, Sporting Canamy Club equalized before the end of the first half.

In the second half, the home team took the lead thanks to a long-range goal by Alonso Hernandez, surprising the goalkeeper, who couldn't stop the ball with his feet. The assistant referee confirmed the goal.
