The players did not want to travel until several problems in the club were solved, in the end they boarded the plane but diminished.
Petrolero del Chaco traveled with only 13 players to their match on Tuesday against Universidad Católica de Quito, because the club's leadership could not pay for the tickets of the other four players who were part of the delegation, and also because an official lost coach Óscar Garvizú's documents before the trip.
The Bolivian team is going through a very critical moment. A few minutes before the trip, it was known that Garviazú would not travel to Ecuador because one of the officials lost his documents, so he could not board the plane.
Faced with this situation, the players decided to support their coach and threatened not to show up at the Atahualpa stadium in Quito.
The leadership calmed the delegation down and they were able to board the plane. However, there were only tickets for 13 players, four of them stayed in Bolivia, such as José Barba, Diego Rivero, Alejandro Flores, and Juan Reyes, who were still waiting for their tickets to join the group.
In the face of all this situation, President José Quecaña resigned irrevocably from Petrolero del Chaco.
