The 4-1 result from last Wednesday was the third of its kind in the La Paz derbies. In the past, The Strongest won with the same scoreline on April 7, 1996 (goals by Willia, Ramallo 2, Óscar Sánchez, and Saturnino Netto; Fernando Ochoaizpur scored a consolation goal). The last time it happened, Bolivar won with the same result on September 13, 1998 (3 goals by Jefferson Gottardy and one by Gilmar; Luis Suárez pulled one back for The Strongest).
