The Paralympic athlete Vidal Domínguez Arroyo had 182 medals stolen this weekend
This weekend, two individuals broke into the home of Paralympic athlete Vidal Domínguez Arroyo, located in the Mirador de la Cumbre neighborhood of this city, and stole 182 medals. Fortunately, 82 of these awards have been recovered.
"I feel happy because I couldn't sleep all night. I am grateful to the governor (Ignacio Peralta Sánchez) who gave instructions for the medals to be found", said the swimmer to Colima Noticias.
"Things happened quickly because otherwise they would have disappeared", said Vidal, who pointed out that one individual has been arrested and will provide details on the whereabouts of the remaining medals, which represent more than 20 years of his career.
