Jannik Sinner secured a spot in the final of the China Open by defeating Spanish player Carlos Alcaraz, the top seed, 7-6 (4) and 6-1 in one hour and 54 minutes. The Italian, the sixth seed, will face Russian player Daniil Medvedev in the title match, who defeated German player Alexander Zverev 6-4 and 6-3 in the other semifinal.
