Novak Djokovic goes for his tenth title in Australia and the tie against Rafael Nadal with 22 triumphs in Grand Slams.
His rival, Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas
will seek revenge against the Serbian after losing the two-set advantage in the final of Roland Garros in 2021.
Ambos con la extra motivación de alcanzar el No. 1 del ranking de la ATP, donde Nole tiene el récord de semanas, mientras que el joven de 24 años probaría el máximo peldaño por primera vez.

In the women's branch the final is of high caliber, with the winner of Wimbledon 2022, 23-year-old Elena Rybakina, against 24-year-old Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka.
Born in Russia but representing Kazakhstan, Rybakina is playing her second Grand Slam final in a period of three majors. She left in her path not only Victoria Azarenka in the semifinal, winner in Melbourne in 2012 and 2013, she also defeated the No. 1 in the world in the round of 16, Iga Swiatek, and Jelena Ostapenko in the quarterfinals, both with Grand Slam titles on their resume.
There is no doubt that the ace has been one of the keys to her game during the last two weeks in Australia, leader with 44 in total; however, the game of both protagonists is similar, based on a powerful serve and hitting hard from the baseline. The fifth seed, Sabalenka, reached her first Grand Slam final, after three failed attempts and solidifies her 10-0 record this 2023, where she has not lost a single set in 20 sets played. Even so, the challenge is not easy, she will have to seek revenge from her only previous encounter with Rybakina in Indian Wells last year.
