Peru and Chile will face each other in the World Group I of the Davis Cup from this Saturday, September 17, at the Club Lawn Tennis de la Exposicion. The national team, captained by Américo Venero, will seek to come out victorious in this new edition of the Pacific Classic to qualify for next year's Qualifiers round.

This Friday, on the eve of the start of the series, the draw for the keys was held and attractive matchups resulted. The first duel of the day will be between Peruvian Nicolás Álvarez (ATP: 298) and Chilean Alejandro Tabilo (ATP: 357); while later it will be the turn of Juan Pablo Varillas (ATP: 100), against Nicolás Jarry (ATP: 111).

On the other hand, Day 2, Sunday, September 18, will begin with the doubles match, with the pair made up of Sergio Galdós and Arklon Huertas del Pino against Tabilo and Jarry. It should be noted that the mentioned two representatives of Chile will participate in all the matches, which will involve more physical wear and tear and that aspect can benefit the 'Blanquirroja'.
