Everything remains a mystery. Serena Williams retired from tennis after the last US Open, however, she did not definitively exclude the possibility of deciding to return. The American tennis player decided to compare herself to Tom Brady, a legendary figure in the NFL, who returned to compete despite initially announcing his retirement.

Invited on the program "Good Morning America" on the American network 'ABC', Serena Williams admitted that her sister, Venus, is trying to convince her to come back, although this is not currently part of her intentions.

"She (Venus Williams) hasn't given up yet, it's just me. She's trying to convince me, but I say 'no, wait'.", Serena Williams said. "You never know. I think Tom Brady started a really good trend", she added with a smile.

Brady, 44, one of the greatest American football players of all time, announced his retirement last season after being eliminated from the playoffs with his Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but reversed his decision just a month and a half later.

Serena Williams, 40, and winner of 23 Grand Slam titles in her career, said before the US Open that she was ready to leave tennis, something she did after being eliminated in New York.

In that tournament, Williams received a long series of heartfelt ovations. "I couldn't ask for more, I will never forget those moments, it was fantastic", Serena said.

For now, the former player is dedicating herself to her family, to her daughter Olympia, and to managing her company 'Serena Ventures', which has a portfolio of over 60 companies.
