Since April 28th (and until May 8th), the South American Youth Games have been taking place in the city of Rosario. In tennis, Luciana Moyano was one of the highlights of the tournament, winning three gold medals in mixed doubles, singles, and women's doubles.

The event, organized by the South American Sports Organization (ODESUR), includes more than 2500 athletes from 15 countries and 26 disciplines. This is the third edition that takes place after the South American Games in Lima (2013) and Santiago de Chile (2017). Although they were supposed to be held last year, the global uncertainty caused by COVID-19 resulted in their postponement to 2022.
