The Peruvian Judo delegation at the First Junior Pan American Games Cali-Valle 2021 continues to demonstrate their effectiveness in various disciplines of the great Pan American event. After the silver medal obtained by skater Ángelo Caro, the achievements were made in the discipline of judo, where Peruvians Noemí Huayhuameza and Arnold Prado won medals.
This morning, another Peruvian climbed onto the podium, it was Kiara Arango's turn. She won the silver medal in the -51kg category.

This edition of the Pan American Tournament brings together 41 delegations with 3500 athletes who will participate in the 28 different disciplines of the first Junior Pan American Games.
The disciplines for this tournament are badminton, bowling, canoe sprinting, BMX racing, track cycling, diving, fencing, artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, judo, karate, speed skating, modern pentathlon, rowing, skateboarding, softball, taekwondo, tennis, table tennis, archery, triathlon, sailing, weightlifting, wrestling, swimming, artistic swimming, volleyball, and beach volleyball.
It should be noted that these Junior Pan American Games will offer direct qualification to the champions in individual sports for the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games to be held in Chile.
