Brooklyn Nets sign Mexican point guard Jorge Gutiérrez

The Brooklyn Nets announced on Monday the signing of Mexican point guard Jorge Gutiérrez, who will have an official contract, the details of which were not disclosed due to privacy policies.

This will be Gutiérrez's second stint with the Nets, after previously playing for the NBA team during the 2013-2014 season.

In the 2015-2016 season, Gutiérrez played for the Charlotte Hornets, and in the 2014-2015 campaign, he was with the Milwaukee Bucks.

Brooklyn will debut in the new basketball season against the Detroit Pistons at the Barclays Center on October 6.
