Barbarians confirmed their lineup to face Wales next Saturday in Cardiff, and Nicolás Sánchez will start in the team of the stars. On the other hand, the Cordoban Lautaro Bazán Vélez was designated among the reserves. Both players come from playing the World Cup in France with Los Pumas. The match will be broadcasted live on Star+.
Eddie Jones, who resigned as coach of the Wallabies, and Scott Robertson, who will be the new head coach of the All Blacks, will be the two coaches of the Barbarians for the match against the Dragon. Led by the legendary Alun Wyn Jones, the prestigious international team will also have the presence of other great stars such as the Australians Michael Hooper, Taniela Tupou, and Rob Valetini.
The match is an opportunity for fans to bid farewell to a series of Welsh legends retiring from international rugby such as Jones himself, as well as Justin Tipuric and Leigh Halfpenny, who announced his retirement last week.
