At the facilities of the Mexican Olympic Committee, the uniforms that will be worn by the 630 athletes participating in the Santiago de Chile Pan American Games were presented. The event will take place from October 20 to November 5 of this year.
"I want to thank all of you who make this moment possible, the sponsors for their alliance in favor of the athletes. Also, our partners who have always been with us despite the complex moments," said María José Alcalá, president of the Mexican Olympic Committee.
The event was attended by athletes who have secured their place in the continental event, as well as sports officials and Olympic medalists. They witnessed the parade of uniforms, accompanied by the singer Pee Wee, in which the athletes themselves participated on the catwalk to show the new attire.

The parade of athletes with the new uniforms was led by Olympic medalist from the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, Alejandra Valencia, and world rowing runner-up, Kenia Lechuga. They were accompanied by Job Castillo from badminton, Emiliano Hernández from modern pentathlon, Samantha Rodríguez from artistic swimming, and Matías Grande from archery. All of them walked the catwalk dressed in different versions of the uniforms in black, green, and red colors.
Furthermore, the president of the Mexican Olympic Committee, María José Alcalá, invited those present to be part of the "Everyone Is Olympic" project, which aims to gather sponsors to be part of the Olympic team on the road to Paris 2024. "This is the beginning of a great effort to attract sponsors to our campaign and motivate us all. The athletes are our reason for being. Also, those who have gone through this path. Our champions should not lack anything," said Alcalá.
