Another Peruvian Athlete Qualifies for the Olympic Games in Paris 2024

Peruvian marcher César Rodríguez has secured his qualification for the Olympic Games in France. Read more

The 26-year-old athlete achieved his spot by exceeding the minimum requirement for the 20-kilometer racewalk, during the final phase of the World Athletics Championships in Budapest 2023.

Rodríguez finished with a time of 1:19:52, securing 17th place in the overall standings and setting a new National Record.

It is worth mentioning that the athlete from Huancayo will be attending his second Olympics, having previously participated in Tokyo 2020, where he finished in 20th place.
