The Mexican Divers Kevin Berlín and Randal Willars Win Bronze at the Swimming World Championship in Japan
The Mexican divers Kevin Berlín and Randal Willars won the bronze medal at the Swimming World Championship held in Fukuoka, Japan, and with that result, they obtained the Olympic spot for Mexico in the synchronized 10-meter platform event.
After six dives, the national duo scored a total of 434.16 points and fought against the Ukrainian pair for the second place during the competition. Finally, the Ukrainians Olekssi Sereda and Kirill Boliukh won the silver medal with a total of 439.32 points.
Congratulations to Randal Willars and Kevin Berlín for winning the bronze medal in synchronized 10-meter at the Swimming World Championship and securing the ticket for Mexico to Paris 2024. 😊

The first place belonged to the Chinese pair Junjie Lian and Hao Yang with 477.75 points, and thus, the Asian country maintains its dominance in the event as it has won all the gold medals in the competed events so far.
Kevin and Randall will compete again in this World Championship on July 20th in the individual 10-meter platform event, and both divers have the possibility of advancing to the final and securing more spots for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
With this, the Mexican diving team has already won four medals in this world championship, following the ones obtained by Aranza Vázquez, bronze in the 1-meter springboard; Osmar Olvera, silver in the 1-meter springboard, and Diego Balleza and Viviana del Ángel, silver in the mixed 10-meter platform.

The Mexican synchronized swimming team achieved fourth place in the acrobatic modality with a score of 215.7267. The first place was for China with 238.0033, the second for the United States with 232.4033, and the third for Japan with 220.5867.
The Mexican team will still participate in the free duet and mixed technical team events in this world championship.
