This Thursday the Latin America Amateur Championship begins, the most important amateur players tournament in the continent. In Puerto Rico, Julián Périco will seek to make history.
It's been six years, but no one forgets what Julián Périco did at the Panama Golf Club, where he scored the lowest first round (64) in LAAC history. Five tournaments later, flirting with the podium, the Peruvian is hopeful of getting rid of the burden in the competition that brings together the best amateur golfers on the continent.
