Surprises on America Televisión

Tonight, in the latest edition of Cuarto Poder, Federico Salazar presented himself as the new host of one of the most influential journalistic spaces on Peruvian television. His entry into the program occurs three weeks before the presidential elections in which Keiko Fujimori and Pedro Castillo will face each other.

Since early hours, when the news of his entry could already be known "off the record", several Twitter users expressed their annoyance, implying that the journalist would have some biased opinion in favor of the leader of Fuerza Popular.

At the beginning of Cuarto Poder, Mávila Huertas took charge of welcoming her professional colleague. Federico Salazar indicated that his presence is due to the last stretch of the electoral campaign.

With a long career in the media, Federico Salazar has earned a name as a journalist on America Televisión. From Monday to Friday, he hosts the morning news program alongside his friend and coworker, Verónica Linares.
