All Blacks pay tribute to Diego Maradona
The New Zealand All Blacks dedicated the pre-match haka to Diego Armando Maradona, the former footballer who passed away last Wednesday, before their game against Argentina's Los Pumas in the Tri-Nations rugby tournament on Saturday.
Captain Sam Cane posed on the field with a black New Zealand national team jersey, with the number "10" and Maradona's last name in white.
This gesture, prior to the haka, was their personal tribute to the Argentinean star, who died at the age of 60 this week.
The rugby teams of New Zealand and Argentina faced each other on Saturday in the Australian city of Newcastle, in the fifth round of the Tri-Nations championship. EFE
